Sunshine Tree Terrace specializes in citrus-based frozen treats and soft-serve, with the Citrus Swirl—tangy frozen orange juice blended with creamy vanilla soft-serve—being my top pick. You can also enjoy orange and vanilla soft-serve (swirled or solo), floats featuring soft-serve with soda (like orange soda or Sprite), and occasional seasonal specials such as strawberry, coconut, or lime. Open since 1971, this spot is a nostalgic must-visit for Orange Bird fans. Plus, it often has shorter lines than Aloha Isle, making it a great quick-stop for a refreshing treat, especially if you’re looking for a pineapple-free alternative to beat the Florida heat!

Sunshine Tree Terrace operates like most Disney snack stands:

  1. Mobile Order or Walk Up – You can save time by using Mobile Order in the My Disney Experience app or wait in line at the counter.
  2. Check the Menu Board – Flavors and offerings can change, especially with seasonal items.
  3. Order from a Cast Member – If ordering in person, watch as they swirl your frozen treat to perfection.
  4. Find a Shady Spot – Seating is limited, but there are a few covered tables nearby.

    Disney’s Dole Whip is iconic! It immediately brings me back to my childhood. I remember eating the iconic yellow whip while sitting by the Enchanted Tiki Room. Awesome memories!
